We are an award-winning, family run, cheese lovers heaven. Based at 26 High Street, Buntingford in Hertfordshire we love being a part of our local community and think our high street is pretty special.
We are run by cheesemonger Toby Archer and his daughter Hope whose love and passion for cheese is pretty clear.
Starting up in 2011, Toby had no background in cheese, having worked in plastic injection moulding beforehand. Or so he thought!! A look back into the Archer family history in 2013, found that his great-great-grandad was also a cheesemonger in the 1800’s. It must run in the blood!
Daughter Hope joined officially in 2016 as our accredited wedding and events coordinator and we truly became a family run business and we love it!
Specialising in artisan cheeses, we hold over 250 in our shop fridges, as well as top quality accompaniments. We love taking customers on a cheese journey and think our weird and wonderful combinations are magical. We also specialise in cheese wedding stacks and slates, as well as outside events and hold our regular infamous cheese and wine nights on a regular basis.
